biography

Valerie de Calignon received a PhD in History of Architecture from University Paris I in 2015, with a thesis on the relationships between architecture, interior architecture and design. With an agrégation in applied arts, she teaches space design at the École Boulle and in the Master Design course offered by the Conference des écoles supérieures d'Arts appliqués de Paris and the Conservatoire national des Arts et Métiers. A graduate of the École Camondo, she co-founded the interior architecture and design studio VDCCL, active in the 1990s.
